When treating patients who have been involved in all accidents, including work (workers compensation) accidents, as well as automobile accidents, quite often it is necessary to refer these patients to a competent, caring, neurologist. Some of the most common injuries that occur with work and automobile accidents such as head trauma (which can cause severe headaches, dizziness, etc), neck and back injuries (which can indicate a pinched nerve and also cause arm and leg pain, numbness, and weakness) and many others require immediate evaluation by a Doctor of Neurology. Our referred neurologists are highly qualified, trained in the latest medical skills and technology, can perform a variety of diagnostic tests such as NCV/EMG study – EEG – VNG testing, and have a great rapport with our patients.

During an initial examination with our highly qualified referred neurologists you can expect a thorough review of your health history with special attention given to your current condition. You can also expect to take a neurological exam that will test mental status and function of the cranial nerves including vision, strength, coordination, reflexes, and sensation. The doctor will use this information to determine whether the problem exists in the nervous system and/or if it exists in other systems of the body. Localization of the pathology is the key process to develop a diagnosis. Further tests may be needed to conform a diagnosis and will ultimately guide you into therapy and the appropriate management of your condition.
In addition, all of our referred neurologists are both Board Certified and Workers Compensation Certified. Remember, if you are hurt at work you can be treated for free and receive compensation for your lost wages, if unable to work. When you return to work, you can still receive treatment at no cost. All our referred neurologists are extremely efficient and competent at documentation of your injuries. All diagnostic tests that are performed (EEG, NCV/EMG and VNG) will not only properly diagnose your condition, but will prove your injury thus providing accurate uncontested documentation. This way our patients are able to receive their needed compensation.
Dr. Jeff J. Mollins will always refer you to a competent caring doctor who will diagnose your problem, provide a proper treatment regimen and accurately document your injuries. In our office we believe “good health is good wealth”.
